Leadership in IT teams

When we talk about leadership, we immediately think of someone who has power: a team leader, a manager. They have to be leaders a priori. And if an IT guy shows himself as a leader in a team, he is bound to go the way of power. However, power and leadership are different concepts. When we talk about working in teams, there can be one formal leader and a number of informal leaders. It is cool if the positions coincide and the team leader is actually a leader rather than a person with a set of tasks and functions.

In the technical sphere, there is a rather skeptical attitude towards management, leadership. The first thought is strange appeals to the team like “Just do it!” However, leadership is nothing but a tool to achieve goals.
